About

Software and Design Engineer, Hyderabad, India.

I'm Ashish Gogula, a software and design engineer based in Hyderabad, India. I work at the line where design and engineering blur — building interfaces that are fast, accessible, and feel considered down to the last detail.

I'm currently a Software Engineer at ShipConsole, where I've been promoted three times in two and a half years. I own features end to end — design, frontend, backend, database, and cloud deployments — including the product's developer portal, its reporting API, and its MCP server for AI agents.

Outside of work I build open-source UI components and interactive web experiences: Planes (an interactive component library), Cover Flow (a 3D cover-flow component for React that ranks first on Google for "coverflow React"), Oopsly (a 404-page generator), and this portfolio itself.

I care about taste in software — timing, typography, motion, and the small decisions that make an interface feel right. I was ranked in the global top 1000 on CSSBattle and won Best Performer of the Year at ShipConsole in 2025.

I'm open to full-time roles and freelance projects. The fastest way to reach me is a 15-minute call via cal.com/ashishgogula/15min, or email at ashish@ashishgogula.in.
